We welcome all to worship with us during the High Holy Days.Please call the synagogue office (714) 963-4611 if you need additional information not provided here. The service times and locations are outlined below.
Attendance at High Holy Day Services is greater than the seating capacity in B’nai Tzedek’s sanctuary. We are fortunate to have generous neighboring congregations who graciously allow us to use their facilities for these larger services. Please check the schedule carefully to find the location for each service.
HIGH HOLY DAY TICKETS
Congregation B’nai Tzedek members receive their High Holy Day tickets a few weeks prior to High Holy Days. Tickets for non-members can be purchased through the synagogue office before the beginning of the High Holy Days. Full-time students, active duty military, and members of other congregations will be admitted with proper I.D.

 | On Rosh Hashanah afternoon we gather at the beach for Tashlich ("You will cast away"), recite the Tashlich Prayer, and throw breadcrumbs (and, symbolically, our sins) into the ocean.

LOCATION of SERVICES
Erev Rosh Hashanah and the first day of Rosh Hashanah services will be held at Saints Simon and Jude Church, 20444 Magnolia Ave., Huntington Beach.
Tashlich will be at Huntington Beach.
Rosh Hashanah, second day services will be held at Congregation B’nai Tzedek.
Kol Nidre and Yom Kippur services will be held at Church of the Latter Day Saints, 17th & Delaware Streets, Huntington Beach.
PRAYERBOOKS
We ask that each person bring his/her own copy of the High Holy Day prayerbook, Gates of Repentance, to High Holy Day services. Books are available for purchase in the synagogue office.
SEFER HA-ZIKARON (Yom Kippur Memorial Book)
As part of the observance of Yom Kippur, we will publish a Yizkor book. It is the tradition at CBT to include the names of those who have passed away. Members will receive request forms in the mail. Others may contact the synagogue office to have a form sent.
