Why Is This Year Different from All Other Years?

Think about your hectic life filled with responsibilities, chores, challenges, and, hopefully, some joys. Do you find yourself so caught up in the “cycle of doing” that your time passes and you don’t know where it went? For many of us, those good intentions to read more, exercise more, eat less (or at least smarter) get lost in a sea of busy-ness (or is it business?).

What about those intentions to get more involved with your Judaism? Have you arrived at a place in your life where simple childhood answers and approaches might not be quite robust enough for complicated adult problems? Do you believe that Judaism offers answers and insights if only you knew where to look? Do you want to show your kids that Jewish education is really important to you instead of just telling them?
