Mitzvah Day 2018

Mitzvah Day 2018 is right around the corner. It is a great way to help the community and world while also teaching our children. Mitzvah Day is for all ages.

 

For 2018 we once again have on-site and off-site opportunities to help our community. We have a great list of activities that will touch people in need. Register below. 

 

Please donate to the Social Action Fund to help fund Mitzvah Day and other social action projects. 

 

2018 AGENDA

8:00 AM  Red Cross blood drive begins. Registration begins

8:30 AM  Kick-Off in the Sanctuary

9:00 AM CBT On-Site projects begin; others leave for Off-site projects

12:00 PM - 2:00 PM  Lunch and treats, reflection, and wrap-up

 

PROJECT LIST

On-site projects -  You are welcome to move among the various projects at CBT during the day.


Blood Drive -- The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be in the CBT parking lot from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Make an appointment at www.redcrossblood.org using the sponsor code: bnaitzedek.

Assembly of Toiletry Kits

Assemble and Decorate Socks and Underwear Boxes

Decorate Shabbat in a Box

Assemble School Supply Kits

Toys for our Canine friends
 
"No-Sew" Blankets for those in need

Placemat making for Seniors
 
Vases with handmade Flowers - for Heritage Pointe Senior Living
 
Brownie Baking - for fire and police stations
 
Off-site projects -  Kids under the age of 16 must be accompanied by their parent - no exceptions.
